In WP5 the association between individual labour market disadvantages and leaving parental home across EU-28 and Ukraine will be described and explanations to the cross-country variation will be given based on country differences in the institutional setting and policies, taking into account also micro factors as gender, age, education and citizenship. The complex interaction between labour market vulnerability and housing autonomy among youth, in the short-run and long-run well be investigated. Based on this work the aim is to detect transition patterns to adulthood and the social mechanisms underlined, referring to the subjective representations and devoting particular attention to the youth’s coping strategies.
