Supporting International Women's Day: EXCEPT organises seminar with students on work insecurity in a gender perspective
For International Women's Day on the 8th March 2018, the Unique Guarantee Committees (Comitati Unici di Garanzia - CUG) of the University of Turin and of the Polytechnic of Turin, in collaboration with CIRSDe (Interdisciplinary Center for Researches and Studies of Women and Gender) held a seminar with students on the theme "Work Insecurity and Choices of Life, in a Gender Perspective". The seminar began with some excerpts from the EXCEPT qualitative interviews. Chiara Ghislieri, Magda Bolzoni and Rosy Musumeci from the Italian team used the excerpts to encourage a lively discussion on the issue of gender roles in the current context of precariousness and to delineate possible solutions and interventions.
