Linking EXCEPT and Youth Guarantee schemes
EXCEPT project coordinator Marge Unt met with the coordinators of Youth Guarantee at the Public Employment Services (Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund), the Union of Open Youth Centers, the Estonian Youth Work Centre and at the Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs. During the meeting the experiences of implementation of Youth Guarantee scheme in different European countries and its applicability in Estonian context were discussed. Further talks revealed points of mutual learning between EXCEPT project and aspects of Youth Guarantee scheme. There are great expectations from stakeholders coordinating the implementation of Youth Guarantee to discuss the findings of EXCEPT youth in-depth interviews in the future.
