EXCEPT research presented key findings to a group of teachers
In the middle of August, Kaja Oras, a member of Tallinn University team, presented the EXCEPT findings to teachers interested in latest scientific research. The presentation was held at Social Competence Development summer seminar for teachers in Nõo, Estonia. Kaja told about six different educational and working trajectories of Estonian youth identified based on the qualitative interviews. The presentation was followed by a vibrant discussion on what schools and teachers could do to help the youth who are in trouble. The conclusion was that teachers play a very important role and can do a lot to make a difference in the lives of young people.
