EXCEPT project introduced at EU level youth symposium

At the end of May EXCEPT project researcher Marti Taru participated in a Symposium: "(Un)Equal Europe? Responses from the youth sector". The Symposium took a cross-sectoral approach and explored how young people experiencing social exclusion and multiple forms of discrimination are supported within education, employment, health and policing.

Marti introduced the EXCEPT project to symposium participants at a themed event. As a result, contacts with the European Union and Council of Europe Youth Partnership have been established. The Partnership organises European events attended by different sectors and actors from various CoE countries, including young people and youth organisations. It was agreed to develop further cooperation and activities accordingly.
