EXCEPT meets NEGOTIATE at ISSK conference in Sofia
EXCEPT co-coordinator Michael Gebel held a plenary talk on "The concept of the 'middle class' in a life course perspective"; Conference "Middle Class, Education, Employment: The Contribution of the Social Sciences" at the Institute for the Study of Societies and Knowledge (ISSK) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The conference was organized by the Bulgarian NEGOTIATE team and was attended by scholars from Bulgaria, Germany and Finland, various stakeholders and students. During the conference EXCEPT and NEGOTIATE, both funded under Horizon 2020, exchanged insights. ISSK represents a “bridge” between EXCEPT and the NEGOTIATE project because ISSK is engaged in both projects.
