EXCEPT invited for a keynote speech at the Meeting of Directors General for Youth

EXCEPT project coordinator Marge Unt discussed the results of the EXCEPT project with the leaders of youth policy from all 28 Member States, from European Commission, European Council and the Partnership between the Council of Europe and the European Commission in the field of youth. Her speech stressed the importance of life course policies, i.e. discussing the long-term consequences of insecure labour market positions on youth lives. The presentation was followed by vivid discussion with the policy makers. Afterwards, the future cooperation ideas were discussed with Marta Medlinska, coordinator of the Partnership between the Council of Europe and the European Commission in the field of youth. The Meeting of Directors General for Youth was held in Tallinn on 26-27^th of October.
