Dissemination experience of EXCEPT project shared at a workshop in the frames of conference featuring top European scientists and policymakers

At the high-level conference “European Research Excellence - Impact and Value for Society” a workshop dedicated to creating value from social sciences to policy and society was held. Rowena Merritt and Olena Nizalova shared the experience of EXCEPT dissemination activities and how to transfer research results to policy and society. The workshop was organised by the Horizon 2020 funded project Dandelion which has the goal to improve the dissemination of research results towards citizens, policymakers, academia and media.

The conference “European Research Excellence - Impact and Value for Society” which hosted the workshop aimed to demonstrate the value of top-level research as one of the main engines of growth in developed countries to create jobs, educate professionals and provide solutions for global issues. Conference speakers included prominent researchers and influential policymakers as well as representatives from business and civil society organisations from all over Europe.
