3rd EXCEPT meeting in Bamberg on February 24-26

EXCEPT is looking forward to present its latest research to academics, stakeholders, and the public.

Our German partner from Bamberg will host the 3rd EXCEPT meeting involving more than 40 researchers from 9 different countries. The workshop will start with a public debate including presentations by Marge Unt (EXCEPT Project Coordinator), Jale Tosun (CUPESSE Project Coordinator) and Ruth Santos-Brien (ICF’s European Social Policy Team; Lead Managing Consultant). In the following two days, the focus will be on a discussion of the first results of the policy analyses and the qualitative and quantitative analyses on youth' social exclusion conducted by the EXCEPT team as well as the steps lying ahead. To further connect the EXCEPT project with experts, we will have two additional guest lectures by Margarida Rodrigues and Hans Dietrich from the IAB (the Research Institute of the Federal Employment Agency of Germany). We are looking forward to the exchange as well as an interesting and productive workshop.
